Nov 2, 2019 - Indie Game Con - showed our first Spark AR filter approved by instagram.

June 15, 2019 – 360 video content generated from our 3D classroom for an educational proof of concept.

April 4, 2019 -- Glimmer Tech scored a front page story in the Eugene Weekly tech issue.

April 1, 2019 – Glimmer Technology created several 3D visualization models for Arcimotos new Deliverator line. Various renders were featured in their quarterly report(!) and social media accounts.

March 5, 2019 – Glimmer Featured in the Register Guard BlueChip! We have been working on a bunch of exciting things. Find out more in the article.

Feb 15, 2019 - Developed a stand alone “demo” version of our interactiveVR classroom environment. This was part of a USignite follow on grant.

2018 - Year of the Dog

Nov 11, 2018 - Indie Game Con - launched our first ever interactive game T-shirt!

Aug 23, 2018 – Great article published in the Eugene Weekly about work on a project to minimize implicit bias!

Jul 27, 2018 – Step into Theater is live! This is our 3rd project of this type for the City of Eugene.

Jun 29, 2018 – We Attended the grand opening of the Step_Into_Stories installation! We had the pleasure of giving Mayor Lucy Vinis a guided tour of the AR panels! We continue to work closely with the folks at the City of Eugene! Big shout out to Jeff Petry and Cierra McGee!

May 2018 – company wizards completed core work for optimizing our AR content delivery system! We can now scale to infinity, and beyond! Or thereabouts!

Ap 7, 2018 – Glimmer Technology was proud to be part of the Hack 4 a Cause event held at the Downtown Athletic Club in Eugene, Oregon. This is a wonderful event put on each year by Eugene Tech and the Technology Association of Oregon TAO. This year attracted over 200 participants. US Ignite was also in the house providing additional funds to help continue work on various projects.

Mar 27, 2018 – Glimmer Technology was selected as the technical lead for a Mozilla Gigabit grant. This is a pilot project to explore if usable data can be observed from VR based testing scenarios.This project was also selected to receive a US Ignite grant.

January 1, 2018 – Glimmer Technology is happy to announce that we have been accepted to StarveUps, Oregon’s first Startup Scalerator. StarveUps is a great organization and we are happy to be a member!

2017 - Year of the Rooster

Nov 28, 2017 - Step into Poetry AR experience for the City of Eugene! – First AR installation in a parking garage that we know of.

Nov 15th, 2017 - Created the AR Design Annual for the AIASWO. – The publication reached an estimated 190 thousand subscribers.

Nov 11, 2017 - Created multiple AR experiences for the Eugene Comic Con! – First AR ready badges, shirts and collector card materials in Eugene.

Sep 15, 2017 - Created an AR Tech Tours event map for the Technology Association of Oregon Tech Tours event!

Sep 10, 2017 - Launched our app Glimmer XP on iOS and Android.

Jul 22, 2017 - Glimmer Technology formed. The idea for Glimmer Technology was conceived over many cups of coffee and other beverages at the Barnlight in downtown Eugene.
